Configure plan file visibility
Use the Visibility Options tab in the Planning Configuration utility to:

Control which parts of plan files are displayed to users.

Set default row expand and collapse.

Set the comparison period used in the Forecast History worksheet and the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow calculator.
NOTE: The Rolling Forecast Global Driver Management role is required for changing these settings.
To set plan file visibility options:

In the RF Admin task pane under Setup, double-click Configuration Utility.

Click the Visibility Options tab, and then select from the following options:
Option Description/Action Plan File Tab Visibility To set which plan file worksheets are visible to users, click the toggle to Visible or Hidden for the following:
- Forecast Plan
- Forecast Initiatives
- Forecast History
Forecast Plan Tab Summary Section Options To set whether EBIDA Earnings Before Interest, Depreciation, Amortization. In Axiom Rolling Forecasting, EBIDA is defined as: Income from Operations + Depreciation + Interest / Total Operating Revenue and Adjusted EBIDA rows are visible on the plan file Summary sheet, click the toggle for each to Visible or Hidden for the following:
- Show EBIDA
- Show Adjusted EBIDA
Labeling Options – If your organization uses different terminology than the displayed defaults, type new labels for:
- Margin (EBIDA)
- Net Margin
- Adjusted EBIDA (operating EBIDA margin before restructuring)
These values are used on the plan file Summary tab.
Column Visibility – Plan File, Deductions Model, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Select the range of columns to be visible in the plan file based on the selected Start Period and End Period. The default Start Period is the Current Year Begin date from the setting in the General tab. The default End Period is 60 periods from the Start year. You can set a shorter time period if needed. Plan File Default Row Expand/Collapse Use this setting to control the default collapsed-expanded behavior of the One Time Adjustment (OTA) sections on the Forecast worksheet. Click the toggle to change the setting.

Expand – All OTA sections are expanded on open.

Collapse –All OTA sections are collapsed on open.
NOTE: If data exists in an OTA section, that section will be expanded on open regardless of the setting in this driver.
Forecast History Comparison Period Use this setting to control whether data in the plan file Forecast History tab comes from the current period or the prior period. Click the toggle to change the setting.

Current – Uses data from the current period to populate the Forecast columns in the worksheet.

Prior – Uses data from the prior period to populate the worksheet.
Balance Sheet and Cash Flow – Initiate File Group Trigger Use this setting to control whether to automatically update the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow calculator.

Yes – Enables the calculator to automatically update when related changes are made in plan files. Changes trigger a Scheduler job that updates the calculator.

No – Disables automatic updating of the calculator. This option is the default. Select this setting if your organization does not use the calculator.
Balance Sheet and Cash Flow – Include Income in Balance Sheet Use this setting to include or exclude income in the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow calculator.

Yes – Includes income in Net Assets for each period in the calculator.

No – Excludes income from Net Assets in the calculator (default).

Click Save, and then in the confirmation dialog, click OK.
